Hello and welcome to our Evolution of a Science Classroom blog!
In the fall of 2012, our
classrooms began what we like to think of as the evolutionary process towards the
classroom of the future. In just under two years, our classrooms have
morphed from a traditional learning environment to one in which students are
encouraged to interact with the material at a personalized and differentiated
level.
Now
that we are over a year into this accelerated evolution, we are looking to
start sharing our continuing journey. To
facilitate this, we have created this blog and our corresponding website. In this blog we hope to share what we are
doing in our classes, what we are continually learning from this experience and
how our classrooms are continuing to evolve.
